Our Eventurer of the Month for December is… Holly AND Lisa!💫⁣⁣ we normally nominate one wonderful individual however these two ladies have inspired me and I couldn't choose just one this month!⁣

Both Holly and Lisa are new to the industry but I saw something in them and just knew they’d shine when given the opportunity. Both ladies have been working as Elves at different venues and I have loved seeing their confidence grow throughout December. ⁣

This monthly recognition goes to someone who has not only done their job to the very best of their ability, but really stood out to us for their compliance, passion and commitment.⁣⁣⁣

We launched almost 6 months ago on 1st June 2020 fully aware of the risks we were taking and the challenges that may lie ahead, all associated with launching during a global pandemic.⁣

Here we are about to enter a new year, proudly reflecting on what we have achieved so far…⁣

I'm a relative newbie to the industry but loved working on events during my time at university and have really enjoyed getting back into it recently! I am used to working in travel and being on the behind the scenes organisation side of things so it's been really fun to get out and be customer facing. ⁣⁣⁣

2020 aside, I love to travel - anything adventurous or that involves a food tour. This year I have been loving cooking and geocaching for getting out and about. ⁣⁣⁣

Meet Carly. A really lovely lady who has been supporting us on virtual events. Reliable, motivated and engaging are three words which spring to mind when we think of her!⁣

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲?⁣
I’ve been in the industry since I was 16, (so a long time, 20 years) this was mainly photographic modelling but then in my 20’s various Motor-shows in London, NEC & Glasgow. ⁣
⁣
𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧?⁣
Best job is a hard one as I have so many memories. I was a ‘Pirelli girl’ for 3 years which involved travelling around Europe for the World Rally Championship. I visited amazing countries and stayed in fabulous hotels plus got to meet the lovely Colin McRae on various occasions. I also had the opportunity to work in South Africa at the Sun City complex for 3 weeks for IBM, this was an experience I’ll never forget!⁣

𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞?⁣
Eventure reminds me of a couple of agencies I worked for early in my career who really looked after their staff. Charli is easy to talk to and you can tell that she cares about people working for her, we’re not ‘just freelancers.’ This is such a refreshing change. ⁣

𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞?⁣
The gym which is my therapy both mentally and physically, being outdoors, walking my American Cockerpoo, wakeboarding & cycling. I also love to ski with my family too!

Whilst pregnant, I managed to supervise at the last London motor show, work at the London boat show (whilst 6 months pregnant) and be a Grid Girl for Vauxhall, all without anyone knowing! ⁣
